Assembler

As an assembler at Åkarnas, you will be part of a team of 18 employees where your days will consist of completing brand new trucks to the end customer according to their equipment requests, such as cargo cranes, load carriers, plow equipment, timber trucks, etc.

Åkarnas is an authorized builder for well-regarded brands such as HIAB, Palfinger, Loglift-Jonsered, Joab, Ilsbo-Sörling, Zettergbergs, just to name a few.

In your work, you will collaborate with your colleagues to complete your projects and will be responsible for one build (truck) at a time. Job Responsibilities

• Assembly according to customer order (load carriers, protective plates, cranes, etc.)
• Welding according to drawings (MIG/MAG, TIG, MMA)
• Hydraulics

To succeed in this role, we see that you should have

• Class B driver's license
• Solution-oriented mindset
• Technical interest

It is an advantage if you have experience in

• Reading technical drawings
• Welding

As mentioned above, you should be comfortable completing your tasks from start to finish, finding creative solutions, delivering well-executed work, and maintaining good communication with your colleagues.

About the Company

Åkarnas Hydraulservice has been in its current ownership form since 1993 and is a recognized builder in Sweden.

Located in its own premises on Ullsätersvägen in Hudiksvall, they have had space for 9 builds at a time since 2011.

During the autumn and winter of 2021/2022, the facilities will be expanded with larger offices, storage, new staff areas, and a final assembly hall.

The company engages in everything from soldering electrical connections to bending, welding, and plasma cutting to build custom parts for each new truck that is to be completed for the customer.
